Our walking group will be going for a walk this Sunday 15th March. See below for walk details sent from one of the walk leaders:

This is a circular walk of approximately 5 miles

Walk classification Moderate 

We will be meeting at Go Ape Rivington Lane, Rivington.BL6 7SB at 11am and setting off at 11.15 am. Please allow time to find a parking spot as it can be busy.

We first walk along the reservoir to Liverpool Castle where there will be time to explore the ruins.

From the Castle we will then head up to Rivington Pike and again we will have time to look at the amazing views.

From the Pike we will then make are way back via the  Pigeon Tower and the Gardens.

This walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams, there are a few flights of stairs and some uneven surfaces so please wear sturdily shoes or boots.

Bring a snack and a drink as we will be stopping for well deserved break on route.
