The next walk will be on Sunday 19th July.

It is a circular walk of 6.5 miles in and around Hoghton Tower.

We will meet at the Royal Oak Pub car park PR5 0SJ at 11am and set off at 11.15 am. There is a number 152 bus from Preston and Blackburn which stops near the pub. Please check timetables beforehand.

There are some good paths, but there are some up and downs on uneven paths, so this walk is unsuitable for wheelchairs and prams. We will be passing through fields and along the Leeds Liverpool canal and a couple of stretches along busy roads so stout walking boots or shoes should be worn.

Bring snacks and a drink for when we stop for a break.
