One-to-one support

One-to-one support, tailored to you.

A flexible practical space to help you improve your well-being and achieve your goals

Lancashire LGBT offers free one-to-one support for LGBTQ+ people aged 18+ living in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Delivered remotely by our dedicated Support Worker, this service provides personalised support tailored to your individual needs

How one-to-one support works

One-to-one support is collaborative and focused on helping you make positive changes in your life.

Together, you and the Support Worker can:

  • Explore your strengths and challenges
  • Identify goals that are important to you
  • Develop strategies to improve wellbeing

Who delivers the service?

The service is delivered by Lancashire LGBT’s qualified Support Worker, who has lived experience of being LGBTQ+ and is DBS checked.

Not sure whether you need counselling or one-to-one support?

Counselling offers a therapeutic space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in depth with a trained counsellor.

One-to-one support is more practical and goal-focused, helping you identify challenges, build skills, access support and make positive changes in your day-to-day life.

If you’re unsure which service is right for you, we’ll be happy to discuss your needs and help you find the most appropriate support.
