Our next walk will be on Saturday 18th March. An easy 5.5 ramble from Ribchester, through fields, along country lanes, and finally along the River Ribble back to the village. Ribchester was the site of a Roman Fort, where one can see the ruins of an old Roman baths.
Meet for 11am on the pay and display car park. Postcode is PR3 3ZH. Hiking boots, or walking shoes are advised, as it is muddy, and slippery in places. Also wear warm clothing, and bring waterproofs. Chance of food and drink at the Black Bull, after the walk. Please bring a packed lunch and a soft drink for the walk.
This walk is provided with the support of ONWARD COMMUNITY FUND.
