Our next walk will take place on Sunday 22nd June. It will be a moderate walk of around 6 miles. The meeting point will be the carpark next to Rossendale Valley Sailing Club at Clowbridge Reservoir, Burnley BB11 5PF.

It will be a circular route around the reservoir and across the moorland to take in the beautiful views and points of interest including the Singing Ringing Tree sculpture. We’ll pause for a lunch break enroute so bring sandwiches or a snack! The route will include uneven terrain that is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams and two stiles to climb over.

The nearest bus stop is a two minute walk from the carpark and is served by the 743 and X43. We will set off from the car park at 11.15am so please arrive no later than 11.10am if you’d like to join us. Our walk leaders will be wearing orange high vis jackets, so keep an eye out for them in the car park
