Join us for our next walk on the Sunday 26th October in Chorley!

This is a circular walk of approximately 4.5 miles. We will follow the river Yarrow through Duxbury Valley and along the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The scenery along the River Yarrow is beautiful at this time of year. This walk is classed as Easy and there are no stiles.

❗️Meet at the Main Car Park by the entrance of Duxbury Park Golf Club. PR7 4AT at 11am. We will be leaving at 11.10 am. If you are arriving by car, take the A6 south of Chorley and turn right onto the A5106, then take first right turning sign posted for Duxbury Park Golf Club. If you are arriving by public transport, you can take the 125 bus between Preston – Chorley – Bolton, and get off at a nearby bus stop Duxbury North Lodge- the car park can be reached on foot. Unfortunately, the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
