The next walk will take place on Sunday the 3rd of May at Astley Park.

The walk is classified as easy and is a circular walk of approximately 2.5 miles (1.5 hours)

We will meet at 11am by the courtyard of Cafe Ambio and set off at 11.15

The nearest car park is Hall Gate car park PR7 1XA

There are several car parks for Astley Park which are pay and display, £1 for 3 hours

From Chorley train station and Chorley bus station head for the Parkgate entrance of the park and take the main path towards Astley Hall there you will find the cafe.

Astley park is a beautiful park and the walk will pass Astley Hall and follow good paths through the wooded area of the park and also along the lovely park paths.

Unfortunately this walk is unsuitable for wheelchairs but is suitable for prams.

Bring a snack if you wish but it would be nice to have coffee etc at the end of the walk at the cafe.

Give yourself time to find a parking spot as the park will be busy.

Please wear suitable footwear
