Renaissance is a long-established support group for trans people of all ages from across the whole trans spectrum, including cross-dressers, gender-fluid and non-binary people. Meets twice a month at the Gynway Guesthouse, Blackpool – on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the calendar month.
There is a small admission charge on meeting nights to cover costs of the food, tea / coffee and the venue.
The meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, starting round 6pm. Overnight accommodation is available, recommend early booking [stayovers can of course be extended as required].
Butterflies is a support group for trans male and female young people aged 13-25 and meets in the Blackpool area every other week. A relaxed and supportive environment in which to be yourself, share experiences and to meet other young people like yourself.
POUT is a long established group for young people in the Chorley and South Ribble areas who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. It’s part of the Lancashire County Council Children & Family Wellbeing Service. The group meets most Wednesday evenings at a venue in Leyland. LGBT youth group for young people aged 11 (at high school) – 17 years. It is held at Inspire Youth Zone, Chorley and it is by invitation only, on a Sunday evening. Any young people visiting would have to be signed up members of the youth zone.
