This will be a moderately strenuous 6.6 mile walk setting off from the lovely village of Scorton near Garstang

It’s a steady ascent to lovely Grizedale Forest through meadows and quiet country lanes, followed by a beautiful stretch of woodland before the return by quiet country lanes with great views over the Morecambe Bay area

We’ll set off at 10.45 from the Priory Cafe in the centre of Scorton. Postcode PR3 1AU. There is on-road parking near the church with the large spire.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear / waterproof jacket etc, and bring a packed lunch.

We will be visiting the Farmers Arms pub in nearby Garstang for refreshments after the walk – postcode PR3 1PA. Sam will be the walk leader.
