POUT is a long established group for young people in the Chorley and South Ribble areas who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. It’s part of the Lancashire County Council Children & Family Wellbeing Service. The group meets most Wednesday evenings at a venue in Leyland. The next walk will be on 20th October. A 6.8 mile walk moderately easy walk from Hurst Green. To start with, a gradual ascent up to Longridge Fell, which has stunning views of the Ribble, and Chipping Valleys. Then an easy descent through lovely woodland, pine forest, and back to Stonyhurst College through fields. Meet for 11am outside the Bayley Arms. Postcode is: BB7 9QB.
