Older & Out
This small social group ‘Older & Out Preston’ meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 3pm – 5pm at the Ham & Jam Coffee Shop, 50 Lancaster Rd, Preston, PR1 1DD.
The social group takes place in a bright safe space where people can be themselves and socialise free from discrimination. Although primarily aimed at LGB&T people 50+ the group is welcoming to LGB&T people and ‘straight allies’ of all ages and acts as an alternative to the ‘Pub & Club’ scene. The group is currently trying to establish itself as an independently run group, after initial support from Age Concern Central Lancashire.
A safe environment in which family members of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people can meet together, share experiences and find peer support. To join, please contact Louise at UR Potential.
