Older & Out
The LGB&T social group ‘Older & Out Preston’ meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 3pm – 5pm at the Ham & Jam Coffee Shop, 50 Lancaster Rd, Preston, PR1 1DD.
The social group takes place in a bright safe space where people can be themselves and socialise free from discrimination. Its members also hold other regular meetings and social activities in and around Lancashire. Although primarily aimed at LGB&T people 50+ the social group is welcoming to LGB&T people and ‘straight allies’ of all ages and acts as an alternative to the ‘Pub & Club’ scene.

Running on the second Tuesday every week from 19/9/2017 HORIZON Dickson Road hold an exclusive sexual health clinic for men who have sex with men. The clinic is held from 5.30pm until 8pm every Tuesday (except public holidays).
The clinic is a drop in service for men who have sex with men, over the age of 18 and is open to anyone in the Blackpool area. Facilitated by Sexual Health Practitioners from HORIZON under the guidance of Clinical Services
Attendees at the clinic will receive a non-invasive sexual health screen to test for prolific Sexually Transmitted Infections and Blood Born Viruses.
The clinic adopts a non-invasive testing procedure and therefore will only be completing urine testing, Throat Swab** and Finger Prick blood test.
Some results are available instantly, with others supplied by Whitegate Drive Sexual Health Clinic within 14 days.
